The controller on my relatively new Nintendo switch began to have an upward drift on the stick that controls character movement. It began getting worse and worse to the point of making it unplayable. We tried recalibrating and cleaning it which didnt help. I was devastated thinking if have to pay the inflated $80 pricetag of a replacement controller. Until I found a YouTube video explaining how to replace the entire joystick. I decided it was worth a shot. It fixed the problem instantly and was fairly easy to do once I has the correct schrewdrivers
