Product Description

GripCase Crystal Bundle Includes: 1x GripCase Crystal Body 1x pair of Snap Grip 1x pair of Trigger Grip 1x pair of Plus Grip 1x MAXCARRY Case (Black)Three types of interchangeable grips: The SnapGrip is a basic set for the most players and games. And the TriggerGrip provides stronger grip force, it is designed for players with bigger hands and play hardcore games very often. The PlusGrip is designed for massive-hands players. All grip sets are made of hard PC (polycarbonate) with texture on the surface, which gives players a similar feeling of holding a XB1 or PS4 joy-con. Full Protection: The GripCase is made of soft TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethanes) material. It will not scratch your SWITCH like the hard plastic does. Most important, our GripCase is easy to put on and remove, convenient for gamers to take the case off when they intend to switch between different gaming modes. Hard shell carrying case: The GripCase Crystal and the MaxCarry Case can be the ultimate solution for your NINTENDO SWITCH. Huge Storage Space: power bank, adaptor(2 pins), USB cable, headset, game cards, joy-con grips and even 3DS LX. Mesh Pocket Upgrade: you are able to put small stuff in the mesh pocket without falling. We also upgraded its material, using the 3-layer sandwich mesh instead of the 1 layer mesh. The sandwich mesh is 1mm thick, has 2 mesh layers with a sponge layer in the middle, which provides great protection to your console. Two sawtooth rails: using the sawtooth rails, the carrying case can be used as a stand for tabletop mode.

Case is kind of loose but doesn't affect play.I own several switch products from Skull & Co. We have 2 switches and one has the crystal case the other has the original case. They offer a good amount of protection and the carry case is not so bulky I can bring it wherever I go.My switch is the Mario edition one, so I opted for the crystal case bundle with Mario blue. Since the switch is all red (Nintendo should have made the joycons blue imo) the blue accents make it really pop. I use the shortest/smallest of the grips for travel. In my case I carry the Skull & Co dock, HDMI cable and a few usbC cables. Also throw in the medium grips on the sides just in case. Wish I could carry their charge brick too, but I wouldn't sacrafice the size of the carry case due to portability. I simply swap out the dock for the brick depending on where I'm going, but lets face it if you are a commuter or going to a buds house you'll more than likely bring a bag/backpack to store other crap you may want to bring.I don't use the joycons off the switch as I have a pro controller and a few sets of joycons so it stays in handheld mode all the time. Might be a big putoff for some that like to use their joycons, but a wireless controller can be had for fairly cheap now.Only con I have is it doesn't fit into the original Nintendo switch dock (just my red one, but it'll fit into the original black one) which is weird. The other switch case (the original black one from Skull & Co) fits in both. Again not a big deal since I have the travel dock.If you're looking for a nice case and want to be able to match your joycons and carry your switch with a few accessories check it out.I promise I'm not a brand ambassador, Just a fan of their products.I recently purchased their last iteration of carrying/protective case for the switch, So I was pretty excited to see a clear one come out with grips that were detachable while the Switch was still in the case! Helps me show off the themed Switch I have (Even if I don't care for Fortnite) and allows me to "hot-swap" grips so my daughter can play more comfortably.I was able to find a way to fit both Nintendo/Anker branded Battery Banks into this case. the 21000mAh Will fit into the top pouch with some accessories to the side while charging the switch no problem. I'll have to make sure it's dead center as to not touch the joy cons. The anker 13400mAh will fit in the bottom compartment no problem while you load the accessories up in the top pouch. I was able to fit 2 joy cons + 2 more bumpers and some extras perfectly. I'd still be careful how you position extra joy cons in the top pouch to where your installed ones are. It may seem like the case wants to stay open, but I assure it accommodates everything.( Side note: Having a really hard time finding a USB-C to USB-C cable with 2 90 degree bends, let alone one that is under 3' (trying to find 18" or under). The one I have pictured is my friends USB A to USB-C Adapter from Satisfye, bleh, Somebody should make some of these,... eh Skull & Co? :D ).Cons:There does seem to be a little more flex in the case than my last one from Skull & Co; but I assure you it stays in no problem, little easier to pop in/out, but I don't consider this a con either. It is a little tight in the dock with having protective screen installed, but not as bad as the older version actually. The older version had to be forced in almost with a screen protector on, the clear one is a little tighter than I'd like going into the OEM dock but I don't feel like it's being forced in. I'm fixing this "Con" by purchasing the Skull & Co Jump Gate to complete my on-the-go setup. Thanks for the color themed thumb grips, wasn't expecting those :DAlmost as good as the black version of the grip case that you had to remove from the non oled switch to change the grips. The triggers work and feel way better than the older version. I just wish that the case fit a little bit tighter. Kind of sags slightly at the bottom of the switch. But overall this is still my favorite gripcase. Would recommend to anyone looking for a case that makes playing your switch so much more comfortable.I backed the original Skull and Co GripCase on Indiegogo and love using it so when I saw this new version I grabbed it right away. I think this is a great improvement over the original case. Having all three grip sizes (the Kickstarter and Indiegogo version only came with the SnapGrip and TriggerGrip sizes) is great for someone with large hands like me and the triggers feel a lot better than when in the original grip. Friends have mentioned how they actually can feel like click of the triggers with the Crystal case compared the mushiness of the original. For me, the best improvement is the slightly off-set grips. They make the case feel more comfortable in the hand than the original and makes it easier to reach the right analog stick with your hand cramping up. It’s not as off-set as the Satisfye ZenGrip Pro but unlike with that case, I don’t have to worry about my joy-con getting scratched or not being able to dock my Switch with the grip case on. It should dock without issue with any dock (first-party/original or third-party). It even fits in the replacement shell I bought for my first-party dock. My only complaint is that the material at the bottom and top of the Switch tablet are a bit loose. I have had this problem with a similar clear case for my 3DS. Eventually the looseness went away (maybe with static cling?) so I hope the same happens with the GripCase Crystal.I think the GripCase Crystal is a great purchase for anyone not pleased with the ergonomics of the Switch in handheld mode that also wants a nice way to protect their Switch. There is even a cheaper version that doesn’t come with a carrying case.Much better than the last model in terms of improvement. The slide on grips are bonus and I can show off my switch unique colour with the clear cover. Also the case is good and strong. I keep my power bank and accessories in!Putting it in the dock isn’t the easiest. I followed the reviews of other models and put a screen protector on to avoid any scratching. So I can’t comment on that. This also adds a mil of thickness. The dock is tight and needs lining up perfectly and a bit of force down. EkkkMy only argument is they should sell a right hand grip separately which sticks out more. Due to the placement of the right thumb stick my hand sticks out more and needs that support. This cover is AMAZING, you can change the grips and it fits perfectly. The case is a quite big but it can house more than just the switch and it protects it very well. The only issue is: there is a very strong chemical smell, unbearable to be able to use it. I sent it back and ordered another, thinking maybe it is an isolated issue, unfortunately got the same problem. My other half has the Lite version of it and it does not have the smell at all, it might be an issue with a batch or something. I really want to get this so I contacted the Skull&Co support, I hope they will help.I own the lite pokemon version for my lite console so thought I'd get the same setup but for my regular switch. I got the clear case as to still be able to see the Monster Hunter design. Feels just as good as the lite version but for regular console, nice case, great grips etc.Only downside is they claim its dockable. IT IS NOT (at least the clear isn't) way way way to tight. To get it to fit you'd either damage the dock or the console itself.Simply amazing. The most comfortable grip for the switch. I have XL hands and have real trouble holding a naked switch. My partner has tiny hands and both of us have used this grip for extended play sessions with no hand cramp. The Max case is one of the toughest I've seen with plenty of space for accessories like my 20000mah Anker battery, extra joycon, SN30 pro controller and a slim dock and cables. A must have accessory.Purchased this to stop getting cramps in my hands when gaming and I wanted a new transparent one instead of the purple limited edition one that I already owned and it's fantastic it looks & feels great in your hands
